Check-in & Check-out


Normal check in time starts at 1:00pm. Due to Covid, we are not permitting early check-ins.


Checkout time is 10:00am. Due to Covid, we are not permitting late check-outs. An additional charge per person (as per the tariff), plus tax will be applicable on late checkouts.


Meals, Refunds, & Security


Breakfast is served in the villa or weather permitting, on the patio, between 7:00am and 10:00am. If you require a different timing for breakfast, please inform the manager regarding the same.



Lunch is served in the villa, or weather permitting, on the patio, between  12:00pm and 2:30pm. If you require a different timing for lunch,

please inform the manager regarding the same.


Dinner is served in the villa, or weather permitting, on the patio, between 7:00pm to 10:00pm. If you require a different timing for dinner,

please inform the manager regarding the same.



There will be no refunds for early departures, for breakdowns of air conditioner, appliances, etc, if said breakdown is due to weather and /or other conditions over which the house owner has no control.

Valuables, Security and Storage

  • Although Souzagad Homestays management takes responsible steps to ensure the safety and security of all guests and their possessions, guests retain final responsibility for their own safety and security.

  • Keep rooms locked at all times when absent.



No cigarette buds, cotton buds, tampons, sanitary pads or any other material, other than toilet paper may be flushed down the toilet. Charges will occur for any blockage.

Cancellation Policy

At Souzagad, bookings are reserved on a first come first serve basis.
. If the Guest cancels a booking anytime before 14 days prior to the checkin date, they are entitled to a 100% refund.
2. There are no refunds or reschedule for any cancellations made within 14 days prior to the checkin date.
3. If the Guest has made a partial payment, he/she is entitled to no refund in any way or form. Incase the guest has made an advance part payment, the balance pending payment has to be done 3 days prior to check in - in order to confirm the booking.
4. Refundable security deposit: ₹3000 per room to be paid at the property against any possible damage incurred during the duration of the stay. 
5. Peak dates such as Diwali, Christmas, New Years Eve and New Years, etc. will be non-refundable and non cancellable under any circumstances.


In the event of a guest testing positive for Covid - 19 or any other personal or medical emergency, we do not offer a cancellation, refund or rescheduling option, since we have a limited number of rooms which are reserved on the basis of the advance payment received, on the basis of which we refuse other booking enquiries for the same booking dates, therefore we expect your kind cooperation for the same.

Under the circumstances of a government statewide/nationwide lockdown (which does not include sealed apartments and/or buildings, personal or medical emergencies or general reasons, on a normal day), only then does Souzagad offer a full refund or a shift of dates for the booking amount of the concerned individual.

General Rules

Your Liabilities

  • We will hold you responsible for any damage or loss caused to our property by your acts or omissions, default, accident or neglect. By booking with us you agree to pay us on demand an amount reasonably required to make good or to rectify such damage or loss caused by you. Normal wear and tear are excluded.

  • Please report any accidents or incidents to the guest house management in connection with any property damage.

  • Smoking is completely forbidden inside the house. A hefty cleaning fee will be charged for smoking inside the house.

  • Smoking is permitted outside the house, please use the ashtrays provided.

  • The consumption of narcotics and drugs is prohibited at Souzagad Homestays.

  • Consumption of alcohol on the property premises without a permit, is the sole responsibility of the guest and not the responsibility of the home owner.

  • Swimming in the river is at the own risk of the guest and any accident or loss of life, related to this will not be the responsibility of the house owner or Souzagad Homestays.


General Incapacity

Souzagad Homestays cannot be held liable if any of the following events or conditions prevents the guest house from fulfilling its obligation to guests:

  • Unanticipated interruption to electricity, water, sewage to and from the guest house;

  • Fire, frost, flooding, wind or any other force of nature.

Because we have several guests, we ask you to respect each other concerning cleanliness of the common areas and noise level. If we receive complaints, you will be given a warning. Further complaints are subject to the termination of stay without a refund of the payment. We reserve the right to end a reservation if a guest becomes a disturbance/nuisance to others including management.

Please respect the house and its occupants.

Environmental Policy

The owners of Souzagad Homestays are dedicated to the protection of our planets resources and would encourage our guests to help us by:

  • Switching off lights, fans and air conditioners when not in use;

  • Ensuring that taps are always turned off after use;

  • Avoiding the unnecessary use of towels – just use what you need!

  • We will sort the recyclable rubbish collected from guest rooms i.e. paper, plastic, metal and glass;

  • We thank you in advance for your comprehension and co-operation
