Souzagad as the name suggests is a combination of the Portuguese word Susegad, which means take it easy, and the surname D'souza which states goan hospitality at its best. After just a two hour drive from Bombay, one enters a true fairy land of pure nature.

Developed as a family getaway on the banks of the Ulhas river in Karjat. This property has two quaint villas, designed by Suresh D'souza and his wife Susan. The location and the place are natures purest forms of unadulterated peace and tranquility for a perfect retreat.

The property spares no compromise on any form of luxury. Surrounded by beautifully done landscape with several private spots where one gets lost in different moods of soothing relaxation. Just birds and butterflies to keep you company on your walks. Every room has been tastefully designed to accomodate the perfect décor and make one totally comfortable with air conditioned spaces and well done facilities.

The property has a beautiful bar and sit out by the river where one can chill sipping a beer or two with the gang. Kayaking too happens on the river, while others choose to cycle or trek alongside the river and explore the 120 acres of the mango plantations. A super games area with a koi fish pond and a pool table with a few indoor games make it fun for all ages to indulge in some activity. A large patio and lawn in front of the main cottage is a perfect space to party by night with a complete barbeque setup under the stars.

A fully equipped kitchen allows one to have the option to indulge in some culinary skills. A fully loaded library for avid readers allows one to pick up a book or two and lay under the trees and read away to ones imagination. The space is perfect for your family & pets.
